His success is thanks to his production of flat trunks (which started in the middle of the 19th century) and steamer bags (which started at the turn of the 20th century) that provided comfort and style for people going to new places for faraway travels. Using more than 800 photographs, there are close-up details showing artisan processes and production skills. It’s 496 pages, available in hardcover and paperback.
